The Peacock Dreaming Oracle Deck
The Peacock Dreaming Oracle is inspired by the flower readings we used to do at Chatswood Spiritualist Church in Sydney, Australia. We used to bring a flower in a paper or plastic bag to our development circles. The bag that most jumped out at you was the one you selected to read. You focused on the feelings the flower in the bag emitted. On opening the bag, the flower told you a story in it's appearance and the way it smells. Words would come into your head and sometimes images. The Peacock Dreaming Affirmation deck is designed to very much work in the same way as those flower readings. When you select the card that draws you to it (with the peacock tail facing you), turn the card over and look deeply into the image of the flower. Close your eyes and take the time to feel. Do you get images in your mind? What do you feel? What do you hear? The Peacock Dreaming deck are a perfect companion to journaling.
